We’ve all been told that we should ‘wear more sunscreen,’ but rarely take it seriously when we’re trying to bask in our giant, hot star.

But the truth of the matter is that the Sun can be a real b︎︎︎︎ sometimes. Thankfully, there’s a block for its savagery.

Exposing you to what the Sun really thinks.

r/Roastme Subreddit

The Reddit thread r/Roastme is a magical corner of the internet where users post pictures of themselves and ask others to roast them.
The top insults are always painfully accurate and therefore hilarious.

We‘ll take advantage of that and host a subreddit takeover for the one and only Sun.

Here, users can post their gnarliest sunburns and get roasted by the ultimate roaster. Hawaiian Tropic will moderate the conversations and let the Sun have its fun, but also defend users by giving out suncare goods to the most popular posts. All to remind everyone that this can in fact be avoided - by using sunscreen.

This thread is a great space for targeted banners. These will also be shown on travel and booking sites where people need accommodations for music festivals and/or spring break.

Sunscape Stations

Summer means a lot of festivals and a lot more Sun exposure. Amongst the chaos, many forget the importance of lathering up.

‘Sunscape’ stations will be sprinkled throughout popular festivals and sunny spring break destinations to remind visitors to take a break from the Sun and escape. Each station will provide shade, water, Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, and complimentary hats and sunglasses.

Road tripping to festivals racks up a lot of Sun, so we’ll remind people to block the burn on the long and boring drive before they even arrive.

Booths will be set up outside festival/event entries with Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, water, hats, and car shades.
